Nicole Haughton

Nicole Haughton is a registered psychologist in Ontario with a Master’s degree in Education from the University of Western Ontario. She brings extensive experience across both educational and private practice settings, offering comprehensive assessments to help individuals better understand their learning profiles and needs. Nicole provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults, and works closely with parents to support meaningful, lasting change.

Nicole is known for her thoughtful, client-centred approach, creating a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and empowered. She values lifelong learning and draws inspiration from diverse cultures, which informs her inclusive and holistic perspective. She is particularly passionate about promoting balance, well-being, and equitable care for all communities.

Alice Deslauriers

Dr Alice Deslauriers

Dr. Deslauriers is a psychometrist at MosaicMinds™ Psychology Clinic who loves working with people of all ages and life stages. She is naturally empathetic and aims to create a space where people feel valued, seen and heard. As a mother of 3, she brings both personal and professional experience to her work with children and families. Alice has worked with people across the lifespan and with a range of challenges, including developmental, interpersonal, behavioural, mood, and learning needs. She especially loves working in early intervention to help families identify their strengths and build on their coping strategies for areas of struggle.  Outside of work, Alice is happiest when reading, spending time with her family and being active in the great outdoors.

Dr. Sameera Ayob-Essop collaborates closely with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals to support students experiencing learning and behavioural challenges.

Dr. Ayob-Essop earned her doctorate in Educational Psychology and has over 10 years of experience in school-based settings, supporting students aged 5–18, as well as in post-secondary institutions, where she has served as a lecturer for Master’s- and PhD-level psychology students. She has expertise in conducting comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate cognitive, academic, and socio-emotional functioning. She collaborates closely with parents, educators, and multidisciplinary professionals to support students experiencing learning and behavioural challenges, including Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), ADHD, ASD, ODD, Conduct Disorder (CD), PTSD, anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.  Sameera uses evidence-based therapeutic approaches to promote student and family well-being, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Her practice is grounded in a positive psychology framework, with a focus on developing SMART goals, enhancing self-awareness, strengthening coping strategies, and fostering effective communication. She is passionate about empowering students to reflect on their experiences and to unlock their strengths and full potential.

Mahreen Haq, a psychometrist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at MosaicMinds Psychology Clinic. Her work includes psychoeducational, learning disability, ADHD, and autism assessments conducted under supervision.

Mahreen Haq

Mahreen is a psychometrist and Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) at MosaicMinds™ Psychology Clinic. She takes a warm, approachable style, using assessment and clear, practical recommendations to help children, adolescents, and adults better understand their learning, attention, executive functioning, and emotional experiences.

Her work includes psychoeducational, learning disability, ADHD, and autism assessments conducted under supervision, supporting neurodiverse individuals across the lifespan. She has a particular interest in high-functioning adults seeking late diagnosis, especially those experiencing burnout, and contributes to comprehensive, neurodiversity-affirming assessments.

Mahreen focuses on helping individuals understand their results and apply them in meaningful, everyday ways. In her work with children and adolescents, she also supports parents in translating assessment findings into practical strategies for learning, regulation, and daily functioning.

She holds two master’s degrees in psychology from Goldsmiths, University of London, and St. Mary’s University, London.

Ranuli is a psychometrist at MosaicMinds™ Psychology Clinic who is passionate about supporting various assessments. She takes an empathetic approach, as she aims to create a warm and inviting space where clients feel heard and understood.

Ranuli has extensive experience working with individuals of various ages diagnosed with neurodevelopmental conditions such as ADHD, OCD, and autism. She also has experience working with individuals experiencing learning challenges, anxiety, and mood concerns. Outside of her clinical work, Ranuli enjoys exploring new restaurants, staying active, and she values bringing compassion and empathy into her work with clients.

Hi, I’m Ashley—a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) supporting teens, adults, and families through compassionate, neurodiversity-affirming care. With over 20 years of experience working with individuals with Autism and ADHD, I take a strengths-based approach tailored to each client’s unique needs.

I support clients navigating anxiety, trauma, ADHD-related challenges, emotional regulation, self-esteem, relationships, burnout, and life transitions. Using empathy, creativity, and evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Together, we work to build resilience, confidence, emotional insight, and practical coping tools to support meaningful, lasting change.

He works with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, stress, anger management concerns, self-esteem challenges, grief, relationship difficulties, behavioural concerns, and family conflict. David has particular expertise supporting children and teens with emotional, social, behavioural, and school-related challenges, as well as helping parents and couples strengthen communication and relationships.

Known for his approachable and down-to-earth style, David combines empathy with practical, solution-focused strategies that help clients navigate challenges and create meaningful change. He strives to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

David draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and Client-Centred Therapy to tailor treatment to each client’s unique needs.

Hi, I’m Polly, a Registered Social Worker (MSW, BSW, RSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, couples, and families. Originally from British Columbia, I worked in non-profit and government social services in both Canada and the United Kingdom before making Ontario my home 14 years ago. As a private practice owner and clinician for the past decade, I enjoy supporting youth, teens, adults and families as they navigate life's challenges and transitions.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. I draw from strengths-based, solution-focused, narrative, motivational, mindfulness-based, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches, while providing trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming care.
